Enjoy your favorite coffee or tea in this mug inspired by the Star Wars Night Trooper from the Ahsoka Show. The Aurebesh text reads Night and has a Galactic Empire signet by the handle.
This 12 oz mug is designed to be comfortable the hand and pleasant to drink from. Plaster molds (made from thrown originals) are used to make the body and handle. I then use the potters wheel to create a bevel on the lip of the mug which makes drinking a pleasure. This mug is made using a stoneware clay. Colored slips and glazes are used to decorate the piece making each piece unique. The pieces is finished with hand painted gold luster "cracks".
***Gold Luster contains actual metal and therefore makes the piece NOT safe to use in the microwave. Luster is also easily affected by abrasives and therefore the Dishwasher will dull or eventually remove the gold luster. It is recommended that luster pieces be hand washed.***
